Adam Herrmann is an experienced attorney within the practice of workers’ compensation and personal injury law. Adam’s approach to law focuses on achieving favorable outcomes for his clients while respecting the nuances of each case. He is able to recognize and resist the insurance companies’ tactics designed to minimize the recovery of injured individuals.  He has a well-developed formula to make sure each client receives a full and fair recovery.  He is honest in presenting the strengths and weaknesses of each case to each client, and will keep each client informed as new evidence develops.  That way, when it comes time, each client is empowered to make an informed decision whether to continue in their legal battle against the insurance companies, seek a practical compromise, or some combination of both.

Before joining McDuffey & Medcalf, LLC, Adam spent years representing insurance companies in private practice.  While in private practice, he worked for a variety of clients handling primarily Missouri Workers’ Compensation claims and personal injury claims involving allegations of medical malpractice.  That experience on the ‘other side’, as an insurance defense attorney, allows Adam to often be one step ahead of the insurance companies’ attempts to defeat or diminish each case.  That first-hand experience also allows Adam to inform each client what insurance companies really cared about when deciding how much money they wanted to offer to try and to settle cases. 

Before representing insurance companies and their insureds in the private sector, Adam was a Missouri Assistant Attorney General.  In that capacity, he defended the State in claims filed by State employees alleging work-related injuries.  He also represented the State’s Second Injury Fund in claims where State employees alleged a work-related injury was enough to have rendered them permanently and totally disabled under the Missouri Workers’ Compensation law.

Adam Herrmann holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law and received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  Born and raised in Mid-Missouri, Adam has deep roots in that community, and easy access to the entire State of Missouri.  Adam is a fun-loving and dedicated husband, father, and friend.  He enjoys spending time with his family and discovering fun new places to visit and things to do with them.
